Wedding Plan Information

Here are a few Wedding Tips to things to think about to keep you focused and in control of your budget.

When it comes to your wedding everyone is going to have an opinion.  Remember again this is going to be your wedding and therefore you and your partner are going to have to be the ones that take control and makes the relevant decisions so as you can both have the wedding you want.

You will be tempted from family and friends not to mention wedding planners, vendors and suppliers who will want to lock you into spending money with them.  Family and friends will no doubt have plenty of money wasting ideas to consider.  Wedding Planners, vendors and suppliers are really interested in your business and making money, and don’t always have your best interests at heart.

You will need to resist temptation and be confident and decisive.

Firstly you will need to know exactly what your budget is and how much you intend to spend.

Here are a few things to think before spending any money and committing yourself.

1.  Get at least three different quotes – you will need to evaluate all bids, quotes and contracts.  The idea is to compare prices, services and value associated with each one.  Never be tempted to sign up on the spot and a good rule of thumb is to sleep on it overnight before making a decision.

2.  Talk with your partner – Once you get a few quotes, speak with your partner or others in your inner circle about what would be the best options.  Go over the pros and cons and get some good advice and suggestions.

3.  Define and Evaluate – See how everything fits in with your budget and go back over what you want to make sure that you have covered everything.

4.  Take a break – Planning your wedding can be a stressful time.  It pays to take a break from things when you feel you have had enough.  Go away for a weekend together with your partner and have quality time together.  Make sure you don’t spend all your time thinking about the wedding and do something different together and relax.

5.  Negotiate – Once you work out what you want and how you want to do it.  Now make sure you focus on getting it right.  Negotiate costs and terms – and get the vendors or suppliers to give you their best price. Make sure you ask for a good deal and get what you want.

Finally, remember that your wedding is really only one day.  It is important, but remember to communicate with your partner and see your wedding planning as an opportunity to improve your relationship by networking together to get things done.  Your partner may have different views and ideas on the wedding.  However, be flexible and understanding as cooperation and communication with planning your wedding will go along way to a successful marriage and life.

Step-by-Step Guide That Saved Me Over $ 10000 on My Wedding

January 3rd, 2010 by admin

Subject: Million Dollar Wedding Under $10,000?

Would you like to have a beautiful wedding but also save tons of money?

Here’s how you can have a gorgeous and luxurious wedding under $10,000!

Your wedding will be one of the greatest thrills of your life. Trust me! I’ve recently done it. Imagine that you’ll be the centre of attention of the most beautiful event. Not only that, everybody at your wedding will envy you and talk about it for years to come.

But unfortunately, planning a wedding can be stressful to many brides. It’s the most important day.  There are hundreds of things to manage and everything has to be in sync.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be! All you need to do is eliminate the following 3 major wedding obstacles. Once you overcome them, wedding planning will be fun and exciting.

According to Hallmark, going over a budget is the single biggest worry for marrying couples. It’s been estimated that about 80% go over budget. Forgetting something important and a boring wedding are the next biggest issues.

When I was planning my wedding, I came across this book called “Amazing Wedding Planning” and it changed everything for me. It had everything that I needed to make my wedding beautiful and under $10,000. I can’t write exactly how I did it step-by-step. But I highly recommend this book. I read several other books before but this book had the best information by far.

I had to pay US $39.95. But it was well worth it. I saved at least $1000 on my wedding dress alone using information from this book. I could have saved a lot more if I had known the information sooner.

It also had wedding managing software which I think is better than the book itself. The software was super easy to manage. I don’t know how I could have gone through my wedding without it.

Enjoy your planning!

Wedding Plan Info, A few tips to get started..

January 2nd, 2010 by admin

Saving money on your wedding is paramount.  Too many couples start their relationship together in debt over wedding costs.  These cost can be minimised and it some cases eliminated through shopping around and smart planning.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Search online.  Let your fingers do the walking and start researching all aspect of the wedding online.  So many services are advertised and the market is competitive.  You will not only get some great ideas, but you potentially will save money.
  2. Limit the size of your wedding.  The more people you have the more it will cost.  You can have too many friends and extras.
  3. Timing.  Early Spring or Late Autumn/Fall is not as popular time to get married.  You can save money on vendors, venues and supplier.
  4. Sunday wedding.  Again not as popular so save as mentioned in point 3 above, and guest are generally working the following day they are less likely to overindulge at your expense.
  5. Limit the bar.  Consider serving only wine and beer as liquor/spirits/cocktails adds to the cost.  Having waiters pouring the wine and beer will limit the over serving.
  6. Wedding and Venue location.  This is very individual but consider options such as church, beach and garden.  Some will be much more expensive than others.  Shop around for the Reception Venue.  Get some recommendations from others that have use the venue to compare value for money.

This wedding plan information should get you started on your wedding.  Remember not to stress and that it is your day to enjoy and remember for the rest of your life.
